In this degree endorsed by Autodesk, Foundry and SideFX (developers of Houdini, the highest quality standard in the VFX film industry) you will acquire a high level training that will qualify you both technically and artistically to be able to work in national productions, as well as in big Hollywood productions.

As the #1 VFX school in Spain (The Rookies Awards) we prepare our students in a unique way, to develop as qualified professionals to be able to meet the demands of the industry at the highest level.

You will be trained as a VFX specialist, mastering the necessary tools for your professional career (Maya, Nuke, Unreal Enrige and Houdini) creating realistic simulations of particles, fabrics, soft bodies, fire, smoke and explosions, simulation of rigid bodies and liquids. At the same time, you will work in post production with Nuke for the composition of shots and visual effects scenes (working in chroma and integration of 3D elements in real image) and you will specialize in high-level VFX with Houdini for the creation of advanced simulations such as natural phenomena, hair, fabrics, particles, liquids and crowds… opening your way as a professional with international projection not only to enter the industry, but to innovate and lead in it.

We are the only school and the only VFX Degree that includes Unreal Engine 5 in its syllabus (training that will open doors for you to virtual production) and the basics of cinema so that you will be able to compose shots and scenes of visual effects with a masterly level, working in chroma and integrating 3D elements in real images and the supervision of VFX on chroma set and virtual production set with screens.

The VFX Degree is a deep dive into the universe of digital production, covering every aspect of the creative and technical process and it is your launching pad into the working world of digital production.

Studying VFX has been an incredible experience for me. I have not only understood the behind-the-scenes of my childhood movies, but also how to be a part of that process myself. I chose FX Animation Barcelona as soon as I saw the amazing works created by students from previous years, which were undoubtedly the best I had seen in the industry.
