El Grado en Animación especializado en técnicas 2D/3D para cine, series y videojuegos se presenta como una puerta abierta hacia un mundo lleno de oportunidades emocionantes y desafiantes dentro del dinámico sector audiovisual.
Como escuela de cine y como Escuela #1 de animación en Catalunya y dentro del Top 5 mundial (Animation Career Review), el Grado de animación 2D/3D te especializa para trabajar en películas y series de producción internacional. Somos la única escuela que te ofrece tanto formación en los principios cinematográficos así como en los de la animación, poniendo todos estos conocimientos en práctica en la producción de los cortometrajes en donde experimentarás cómo es estar dentro de un entorno de producción real.
La formación ha sido cuidadosamente diseñada para fusionar el arte con la técnica y la pasión con el objetivo de formar profesionales integrales y altamente cualificados en el amplio espectro del cine de animación. Te embarcarás en un viaje inspirador, siguiendo los pasos de gigantes creativos y pioneros de la industria como Walt Disney, Hayao Miyazaki y los estudios Pixar.

Studying at FX Animation has been one of the best decisions I’ve made both for the sake of my career and for myself. The faculty roster is comprised of highly skilled professionals who deliver well-prepared and structured lessons. I began studying 3D, but this didn’t stop me from becoming an FX Artist thanks to the university’s structured approach that allows you to delve deeply into each module, to evolve, and to ask as many questions as needed until you understand everything. The classes have small groups, which ensures that the professors can offer a more personalized attention and fosters closer bonds with your peers. This setup proves more efficient for the professional field.

Studying VFX has been an incredible experience for me. I have not only understood the behind-the-scenes of my childhood movies, but also how to be a part of that process myself. I chose FX Animation Barcelona as soon as I saw the amazing works created by students from previous years, which were undoubtedly the best I had seen in the industry.
I completed the three-year specialized VFX program where I met classmates and professors who are now friends and colleagues. In my case, I am very grateful to the school because just after finishing the course and before graduating, I got an internship at El Ranchito through their job placement program, where I worked for the next three years.

I always dreamed of working in film and special effects, and FX Barcelona Film School gave me the great opportunity to make it a reality. During my time at the school, I met great professionals with whom I have had the pleasure of working later on. Additionally, I built a network of contacts that still supports me today.
For me, studying at the school became a turning point in my career. I will always be grateful to Fátima for believing in me, as she saw my potential even when I wasn’t sure of it myself, and to Francesc for guiding me along the way and never giving up on me.

I am completely satisfied with the Visual Effects training I received at FX Film School, and I can vouch for it. The Master’s program is quite comprehensive, building from the groundwork up to more complex projects, and it thoroughly prepares you to work in the professional sector, even giving you the ability to work in different fields. The environment is welcoming; in fact, I want to highlight the excellent teachers I had the pleasure of meeting and everything I feel they have done for us. Without a doubt, it was a great experience with friends I will keep for life.
