En este grado avalado por Autodesk, Foundry y SideFX (desarrolladores de Houdini, el máximo estándar de calidad en la industria cinematográfica de los VFX) adquirirás una formación de alto nivel que te capacitará tanto técnica como artísticamente para poder trabajar tanto en producciones nacionales, así como en las grandes producciones de Hollywood.
Como escuela #1 en España en VFX (The Rookies Awards) preparamos a nuestros alumnos de una forma única, para que se desarrollen como profesionales cualificados y que sean capaces de satisfacer las demandas de la industria al más alto nivel.
Te formarás como especialista de VFX dominando las herramientas necesarias para tu carrera profesional (Maya, Nuke, Unreal Enrige y Houdini) creando simulaciones realistas de partículas, telas, cuerpos blandos, fuego, humo y explosiones, simulación de cuerpos rígidos y líquidos. A su vez, trabajarás la postproducción con Nuke para la composición de planos y escenas de efectos visuales (trabajo en chroma e integración de elementos 3D en imagen real) y te especializarás en VFX de alto nivel con Houdini para la creación de simulaciones avanzadas como fenómenos naturales, pelo, telas, partículas, líquidos y crowds (multitudes)… abriéndote camino como profesional con proyección internacional no solo para entrar en la industria, sino para innovar y liderar en ella.
Somos la única escuela y es el único Grado en VFX que incluye en su temario Unreal Engine 5 (formación que te abrirá las puertas a la producción virtual) y las bases del cine para que seas capaz de componer planos y escenas de efectos visuales con un nivel de maestría, trabajando en chroma e integrando elementos 3D en imágenes reales y la supervisión de los VFX en plató de chroma y en plató de producción virtual con pantallas.
El Grado en VFX es una inmersión profunda en el universo de la producción digital, abarcando cada aspecto del proceso creativo y técnico y es tu lanzadera al mundo laboral.

Studying at FX Animation has been one of the best decisions I’ve made both for the sake of my career and for myself. The faculty roster is comprised of highly skilled professionals who deliver well-prepared and structured lessons. I began studying 3D, but this didn’t stop me from becoming an FX Artist thanks to the university’s structured approach that allows you to delve deeply into each module, to evolve, and to ask as many questions as needed until you understand everything. The classes have small groups, which ensures that the professors can offer a more personalized attention and fosters closer bonds with your peers. This setup proves more efficient for the professional field.

Studying VFX has been an incredible experience for me. I have not only understood the behind-the-scenes of my childhood movies, but also how to be a part of that process myself. I chose FX Animation Barcelona as soon as I saw the amazing works created by students from previous years, which were undoubtedly the best I had seen in the industry.
I completed the three-year specialized VFX program where I met classmates and professors who are now friends and colleagues. In my case, I am very grateful to the school because just after finishing the course and before graduating, I got an internship at El Ranchito through their job placement program, where I worked for the next three years.

I always dreamed of working in film and special effects, and FX Barcelona Film School gave me the great opportunity to make it a reality. During my time at the school, I met great professionals with whom I have had the pleasure of working later on. Additionally, I built a network of contacts that still supports me today.

I am completely satisfied with the Visual Effects training I received at FX Film School, and I can vouch for it. The Master’s program is quite comprehensive, building from the groundwork up to more complex projects, and it thoroughly prepares you to work in the professional sector, even giving you the ability to work in different fields. The environment is welcoming; in fact, I want to highlight the excellent teachers I had the pleasure of meeting and everything I feel they have done for us.
